London Marathon to go ahead as an elite-only event on 4th October 2020, with rigorous health and safety measures in place. The 2021 edition of the race was also announced as being held in October instead of April. The new format of the race will be laps in St James Park, headlined by the awaited match-up between Eliud Kipchoge and Keninisa Bekele with more of the elite field to be confirmed.
