Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work at an archeological dig site?
Jeff, one of Al's buddies from the college years, wondered the same thing. In 2021 he signed up to go on an archeology field camp at the Koster Site in southwest Illinois. This site has evidence of human habitation going back almost 9000 years. Jeff discusses the site's history and shares some of his experiences from working on the dig site.
CORRECTION: After posting this episode Jeff informed me that the name of the site is actually the German site. The Koster site is another site in Illinois.
