Cross River Meditation Center Podcast
Religion & Spirituality:Buddhism
This is a live stream and recording of our Tuesday evening Dhamma class from Cross River Meditation Center in Frenchtown, New Jersey on September 25, 2018. The stream begins every Tuesday at 7:15 PM Eastern US time.
My Tuesday Dhamma talk and our sangha discussion will be on the Gilana Sutta. There are seven factors of enlightenment taught by the Buddha that are to be cultivated and developed further for awakening to be realized. In the Gilana Sutta, the Buddha teaches Sariputta’s brother Cunda these seven factors.
“These seven factors of enlightenment are carefully taught by the Buddha and all seven are cultivated and fully developed by one awakened. These seven factors of enlightenment bring perfect understanding, full realization, and Nibbana.” (Gilana Sutta)

Each Tuesday class will have a twenty-minute Shamatha-Vipassana meditation followed by my Dhamma talk and Sangha discussion and conclude with Metta intentional meditation.
