Alexandra Baker and Krissia Rivera Perla

Intraventricular haemorrhage is a significant cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide. Treating it with intraventricular fibrinolytic therapy via a catheter is becoming an increasingly utilized intervention. I’m Carmen Lahiff-Jenkins, Managing Editor of the International Journal of Stroke and I spoke to Alexandra Baker and Krissia Rivera Perla from John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, they are the joint first editors for the article Fibrinolytic for Treatment of Intraventricular Haemorrhage: A Meta-Analysis and Systematic Review.
