La Grange "La Grange" is a song by the American rock group ZZ Top from their album Tres Hombres, released in 1973. One of their most successful songs, it was released in 1973 and received extensive radio play, rising to number 41 in the Billboard Pop Singles list in 1974. The song refers to a bordello on the outskirts of La Grange, Texas. The American rock band formed in 1969 in Houston, Texas, by vocalist and guitarist Billy Gibbons and for 51 years, the band comprised of Gibbons, drummer Frank Beard and bassist Dusty Hill, until Hill's death in 2021 at the age 72. Rooted in blues, ZZ Top developed a signature sound.
