Dr. Manjula Jegasothy is Founder & CEO of the Miami Skin Institute, in the heart of Coral Gables. She specializes in nonsurgical Aesthetic Dermatology and has received numerous top doctor awards by the press, colleagues, and her patients. As Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami Frost Department of Dermatology, Dr. Jegasothy contributes frequently to her Dermatology training program and lectures at medical conferences locally, nationally and internationally several times yearly. Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Pennsylvania, Dr. Jegasothy follows in the footsteps of parents and grandparents who were all physicians. Her father, Dr. Brain V. Jegasothy, was the Chairman of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and was the author of over 300 scholarly Dermatology texts and studies, while pioneering a cure for a rare lymphoma still in use today.Dr. Jegasothy has been on the Editorial Panels for Aesthetic Dermatology and Skin & Aging for a number of years.
