Moment of Meditation: I Am with You (Matthew 28:20)

''And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).''
Jesus gives a bold promise to all Christians. He will be with you wherever you go. There is nowhere you can go where Jesus is not with you. At least until the end of the age.
At the end of the age, the promise will end for those who will be condemned to eternity in Hell. In Hell, God is not present. That's what makes it Hell.
However, for those who believe in Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, the promise never ends. We will be taken from this vale of tears into a place that is beyond description in its beauty. A place where Jesus will always be with us. A place where we will see God face to face.
Oh, what a day that will be! The day when faith becomes sight. When we can see and walk and talk with Jesus always. Amen.
