Our next guest comes from a hockey family, his dad won two Stanley cups, he was a first-round pick, eleventh overall in the 1976 draft with the Kansas City Royals, he went on to play 457 games in the NHL, scoring over 200 goals and 400 points. His NHL career saw him lace them up for Colorado Rockies, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Washington Capitals and Buffalo Sabres.
He played his final couple of seasons in the AHL where he went back-to-back all star games and back to back scoring titles with 51 & 61 goals. He also won the league MVP award back-to-back too.
Since hanging them up, he has gone on to have a long coaching career including time in Germany , Russia and five years as assistant coach with the Nashville Predators.
