On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Velvet Chains who are about to release their new album Icarus on the 24th of September, as well as having just released their new single Strange Love. They describe the album as honest and emotional as it was influenced by being stuck indoors during the pandemic. Pipeman likens the story of Icarus to the artists of today, trying to fly at festivals without being burnt by Covid. The band also touches on their cultural diversity within the band and how it helps them learn from each other, and has even given them a sizable following in South America. Looking to the future, You might be able to catch Velvet Chains live as they’re looking to do an US tour in 2022, as well as looking to do as many festivals as possible next year. They’re also working on songs for their next record, so keep an eye out for that. You can do that by checking out their Instagram @velvetchainsband, their facebook at facebook.com/velvetchains and their YouTube, as well as on all major streaming platforms
