S1E27 - 5 Years Post My Coming Out Story: Living Your Truth, Reprogramming Your Subconscious Mind, Forgiving Others, Being Open-Minded, Loving Everyone and Christ Consciousness - Journey Free Podcast
In this episode, I reflect on 5-years post my Coming Out Story, September 16, 2016, the day I came out publicly on my YouTube channel. Love is Love. A lot of people at this time was not speaking openly about their sexuality. It was a transformative time for me because I was able to take a difficult time in my life and transmute that energy into a beautiful sacred space. I was able to live fully and authentically in my truth through my Coming Out Story. My experiences have led me to more sacred spaces like this podcast, Journey Free Podcast. I pray that my story helps others and serve them in a way that offers support, comfort and/or inspiration. Know that you too can be authentic, you can be free. My Coming Out day is homage to the person who helped me walk into this part of myself that I did not know existed at the time and even if I had some inclination it was very suppressed due to my strict, Christian upbringing and being heavily involved within the church. This was a difficult time period in my life because a lot of my family, friends of the family and close loved ones shunned me for being a part of the LGBT community. I was expected to live a certain lifestyle and it caused a rift between my identity, sexuality and religious beliefs and values. It took me to uproot myself from my family, programming and past conditioning to fully step into the truth of who I am. It takes courage to take a leap (even though you may be afraid) to explore your emotions and who you are… beyond the “you” that was told to you. Do not live in lies nor facades. It is not true. Take an inventory on your feelings as well as the connections in your life. Trust the process because in due time things will turn out the way it was meant to. You may feel that it is impossible to move past heartbreak, that you won’t be able to love again etc. God consciousness is forgiving those that hurt you, loving them anyway and wishing the best for them. There is no need to carry burdens that you can just release. Be free from wounds and trauma. Be clear-minded. Now is the time to forgive.
Uneak Tershai, a multi-dimensional one, who loves to talk openly about life experiences, inspires others to embrace their differences and encourages them to love themselves for the uniqueness that they are.
