Hi - It is time for a good solid laddery speed session. I recorded this one some weeks ago, shortly after England lost to Italy (or did they really lose) in the European Football Championships final, and in the intervals in between your speed workout I talk/rant about the treatment of the men that missed their penalties.
This sits nicely, in London Marathon week as it is all about the dangers of an overt fixation of outcomes, something that is very important to consider in running a marathon, especially this one, the first London Marathon in two and a half years. I in correctly reference a previous edition of the podcast, the one I meant is actually number 81 (Recovery Ramble no.12 - Be More Gareth)
The main session today is a ladder session - 60s, 90s, 120s, 150s, 180s, 150s, 120s, 90s, 60s all off 90s rest.
The warm-up starts at 18 minutes
The main session starts at 28 minutes.
Hope you enjoy it
Steve
