Tom Cruise is a movie star and that affords him a lot of power to make terrible movies.  And with the Mummy he did it all, ruined the script, hired a bad director and cooked up one of the worst monster movies of all time.  Good job Tom. Oh yeah and this was supposed to usher in Universal's Dark Universe - Haha that didn't happen. (PS do your self a favor and go watch the Brenden Frasier Mummy)
