"Nic Thurman is an American kitsch painter. He is concerned with sentimental and timeless motifs that tell stories about the human condition.

He has exhibited across the United States and Norway.

From 2014 - 2017 he studied as a pupil of Jeremy Caniglia. In 2018 Thurman became a pupil of Odd Nerdrum and studied in his studios, in Norway and Sweden, for over 2 years. Thurman is a founding member of the foremost classical painting group in Scandinavia, The Memorosa Group. He is currently living and working between the United States and Scandinavia."
