Rebecca has always had a keen interest in how digital impacts the built environment. Her career began as an architect in Australia but bled into technology and BIM related roles where she was able to influence organizations and employees on the benefits of digital in the workflow when designing and constructing. After a series of successful senior roles in Architectural practices in both Australia and the UK she gained her Masters in Construction Management and became a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB).
Rebecca founded Digital Node in 2013 after working in the Construction industry in the UK for 7 years and the company aims to provide advice and insight to construction professionals all over the world on BIM, Digital Engineering and Technology led productivity. Digital Node have clients all over the world and are growing exponentially.
Rebecca has a passion for diversity in the built environment and founded the global community Women in BIM (WiB). She saw a need to create this group to address the skills crisis in BIM. WIB has grown to over 800 members, extending to women in Europe, the US, Australia, the Middle East, and south-east Asia.
