Dr. Saenz graduated summa cum laude from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX with a degree in biochemistry. He then graduated summa cum laude with a dual OD/MS degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he spent his time researching non-invasive imaging to aid in the diagnosis and management of multiple sclerosis and idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Dr. Saenz is passionate about service and has participated in many medical mission trips to underserved countries including Panama, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
