421: How To Deal With Grief & Heal From Heartbreak
Grief — all of us have felt it or will feel it at some stage in our lives. Yet it’s surprisingly misunderstood as an emotion and an experience, and many of us feel like we need to “hurry” through it or “fix” it as soon as possible. But is that what our hearts actually need in order to heal? In this intimate episode, I’m sharing my personal account of love, loss and how I survived one of the hardest times of my life, along with practical tips to support other people who are grieving, a discussion on how grief impacts our physical health (and what you can do about it), as well as a guide to opening yourself up to post-traumatic growth (which can be a beautiful way to honour the passing or end of a relationship).
