This podcast first aired in December but we are sharing it again with you now in the lead-up to our AgriFutures Rural Women's Award National Announcement this month. Our podcast guest is the 2020 WA RWA Finalist, Cara Peek .

Cara is a Yawuru Bunuba woman who is the founder of Saltwater County Ltd and co-founder of The Cultural Intelligence Project Pty Ltd.

A native title lawyer by profession, Cara has travelled the world to work closely with other Indigenous nations such as the San Carlos Apache Nation.

Now back home in the Kimberley, this born advocate is re-engaging at-risk Indigenous youth and connecting them back to country by using practical, hands-on skills such as bull riding, rodeos, camp drafting and country music. Listen to Cara’s powerful story.
