ASX 200 closes remarkably higher with a 8 point rise to a new record close of 7394. Amazing given the 136 new cases of Cv19 in Sydney. Banks sagged with the Big Bank Basket falling to $177.56. Tech was better with a 1% gain and nickel stocks stonking higher led by POS up 18.2%. Iron ore falls had little impact and energy stocks sagged despite oil price rises. 
Defensive healthcare rose and industrials did well too with WES rising 0.8% as Officeworks set to prosper again..

Dow Futures up 81 points and European markets opening around 0.3%.
