Back at the Sanderson Estate, things seem to be moving forward for the new blended family.  Everything except the close relationship between Mr. Edwards and the eldest Sanderson Sibling: John Junior. In fact, the two of them appear to be more opposite.  Not that that is a bad thing, but the two of them don't seem to really know how to communicate with one another. In fact it gets to a point where a reluctant John Jr is forced on a hunting trip with Mr. Edwards.  It's not the quality time with Mr. Edwards that is bothering John merely the intention behind the campout....which is hunting.  And when circumstances lead to Mr. Edwards getting gravely wounded, John Jr. then has an identity crisis.
