Genesis 36-37: O Brother (Joseph), Where Art Thou?

Two heavy hitters: Esau and Joseph are mentioned in Genesis 36 and 37. Esau says goodbye but not without making an impact. Esau and Jacob's behavior of brotherly fighting have been passed down to Jacob's sons. Jacob's favorite son, Joseph upset his brothers so much that they consider murder but settle for human trafficking--selling their brother for some silver. Needless to say, it's not a great day for God's chosen family.
While there are some definitive dark moments between some family members, hang on to hope as we will see God continues to redeem this family as we come closer to wrapping up Genesis. We are happy you are part of the club. Make sure to take a peek at the show notes below for Hayley's recap!
