Last week we looked at how a tribunal will test whether your employer had enough information to reasonably believe you are guilty of misconduct for which your employer is seeking to dismiss you.
In this week’s podcast episode, we look at how an employment tribunal will challenge your employer to show how dismissing you from your job, was the only reasonable action the employer could take, for dealing with your alleged misconduct. So, in other words, was dismissal the only sanction available or could your employer have chosen a lesser sanction that would have allowed you to remain in your job.
