On this episode of the Adventures of Pipeman, Pipeman speaks to Wesley Scantlin from Puddle of Mudd after their set at Rocklahoma, which he described as really fun. Wesley talks about how he wrote a lot during lockdown, as well as learning how to use iMovie, something he wishes he had in his teens to his twenties when he would make movies with a neighbor of his. Pipeman asks what moment did he know he wanted to pursue a career in music as Wes explains it was at a Van Halen concert, after which he got a guitar and started writing his own songs. When asked about what he has planned for the near future, Wesley reveals he is going to keep writing and get into the studio to start recording the new record. This leads to him talking about one of his strengths as a songwriter being that he knows when what he is writing sucks and can get rid of it quickly. Wes also reveals to us that if music was no longer an option in a hypothetical world, he would be building houses or bartending, two things he really enjoyed.
