Eric's Master's thesis was an autoethnographic study of his experiences as a teacher and student in first-year composition in Ghana. In this research work, he sought to acknowledge the pluralistic nature and relevance of writing traditions worldwide; thus, the need for culturally-responsive pedagogies and a new paradigm shift for inclusionary rhetoric and citizenship in the classroom.
