Today I interview veteran youth hockey coach, Karl Norton. Karl talks about a great quote by sports psychologist, Dr. Jerry Lynch - "Your influence is never neutral."
We have a great discussion on the quote, and we explore a variety of topics that it led to, the biggie being the value of a "games-approach" to practice vs. a "drills-approach." I really enjoyed the discussion and all that I learned from Karl, and I think you will, too. He also has me really excited about trying some new things with my basketball team this year!
If you would like to connect with Karl and discuss anything he brought up on the show, he can be reached at knallc@hotmail.com.
