It's down to the wire for a deal on President Biden's social safety net bill -- with major compromises. Tornadoes in Texas and Louisiana, and a "Bomb Cyclone" in the Northeast, have left a trail of serious damage. Investigators now say it appears a live bullet killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. For the first time, the CDC is making a recommendation for a fourth shot of the coronavirus vaccine. The additional dose would be for people with suppressed immune systems. The organizers of a right-wing protest in Charlottesville, Virginia will go on trial this morning, more than four years after that demonstration turned into a deadly riot.
