Dr. Farha Ternikar (Ph.D. 2003) is an associate professor and teaches Gender and Society, Social Inequality and Gender and Feminist theory and is also Director of the Gender & Women's Studies Program at Le Moyne College. She is the author of the forthcoming book Intersectionality in the Muslim South Asian-American Middle Class: Lifestyle Consumption beyond Halal and Hijab.
