Pfizer has announced a new pill to treat COVID -- which could save thousands of lives. The U.K. has approved another COVID-fighting pill, this one from Merck. The White House made January 4th a deadline for larger companies to get their workers vaccinated, or implement weekly testing. Some Republican governors have already threatened to sue over the measure. The House of Representatives may finally vote this morning on two of the president's other priorities: a giant infrastructure package, and a larger social spending bill covering everything from child care to climate change.
