Those who have Italian citizenship who reside outside of Italy have the opportunity to make their voices heard. This can be done by voting for Italian national elections as well as through the politicians that represent them in Italy. A lesser-known form of representation that Italians abroad have are the Committees for Italians Abroad. These exist in order to further help in the connections between Italy and the Italian diaspora.
