Geektown Behind The Scenes Podcast 57: ‘Impeachment: American Crime Story’ Editor Chris A. Peterson, ACE
In this episode of the Geektown Behind The Scenes podcast, I'm chatting with Chris A. Peterson, ACE, editor of many, many shows and film, but most recently, Ryan Murphy's 'Impeachment: American Crime Story'.
'Impeachment', which is currently airing on BBC Two, tells this story the Bill Clinton scandal through the eyes of the women at the centre of the events: Monica Lewinsky (Beanie Feldstein), Linda Tripp (Sarah Paulson) and Paula Jones (Annaleigh Ashford). Chris edited episode four, which has just aired in the UK, and the upcoming pivotal seventh episode, in which the affair between Clinton and Lewinsky goes public.
Chris is an Emmy and ACE Eddie award-winning editor of feature films, television series and pilots. Outside of 'Impeachment' he has worked on a number of other Ryan Murphy projects including 'American Horror Story', '9-1-1' and 'The Politician'. He also has worked for but Marvel and DC, editing the brilliant 'Jessica Jones', the mind-bindingly weird 'Legion' and pre-Batman series 'Pennyworth'. He also has a background in documentaries, having worked on 'Seduced: Inside the NXIVM Cult', 'The Assassination of President Kennedy', 'Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic' and many more.
