On June 11, 1962 three inmates escaped from the Federal Penitentiary on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco Bay. Covering their escape, digging holes and building a raft out of old raincoats--the elaborate escape plan took months to plan. The inmates were presumed dead--but many conspiracy theories have surfaced over the years with a surprising discovery in 2020 that perhaps solves the mystery.
