The murder of Geraldine Settee is one of the oldest unsolved MMIWG cases in modern Canadian history.
On January 1, 1970, Geraldine, an 11-year-old girl of Métis heritage, was murdered while she walked to the store to buy candy in a Winnipeg suburb.
Although an arrest was made, the suspect was released.
For over half of a century, The Settee Family has been left without answers.
What caused this case to fall apart and remain cold for so long?
Thanks for listening!
