Prayer for Peace and Understanding

Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

Father God in the name of Jesus, we honor you and we give you glory and praise. And we thank you for your word. For your word certainly is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto my path. It is your word that illuminates our understanding and we are able to live as children of the most high God.

 

So God, in the name of Jesus,, as we learn to trust you, as a part of peace. Give us to trust you in all of our ways with all of our heart, we depend on you. We know that you are greater than our circumstances, and we trust you. With the solutions for our lives. We trust you with the outcome for our lives.

 

And then you instructed us to lean, not to our own understanding. In otherwise God, we don't go after our own understanding, but we go after the knowledge and the understanding and the wisdom of God. In everything. We look for you in every problem we want to know, what is it that you have to say?

 

We want to know where are you in this circumstance? So I pray for your strength upon everyone that will listen to this prayer. I pray for an abundance of grace will come and surround them. They will feel your love and they will feel the love of those that are around them.

 

We give you glory. We give you praise. In Jesus' name, we pray.
