Football inches ever closer, as the JV leagues are playing and entertaining SEC fans ahead of their debut in a couple of weeks. Clemson looks good annihilating Wake Forest, and Lincoln Riley's Sooners continue to blow away overmatched opponents. Down in Tuscaloosa, though, the season preparation continues apace, and there was a key scrimmage this past weekend. Jobs were won and lost, but this iteration of the Crimson Tide continues to take shape.
