Episode 64: My Neighbor Totoro (1988)

This week at The Film Club we're concluding our Newvember series with a Hayao Miyazaki classic My Neighbor Totoro. The film tells the story of two sisters who move to the country with their family and adjust to their new life in a haunted house surrounded by forrest spirits. The youngest sister Mei is the first to see and befriend the forrest spirits and eventually her older sister Satsuke meets forrest spirit Totoro who takes them on exciting adventures. Satsuke and Mei's mother is in the hospital and when bad news about her health surfaces Mei runs off alone to the hospital but ends up lost. Can Satsuke and Totoro find Mei?
