Lori La Bey talks with Beth Sanders, Founder and CEO of LifeBio, a leading age-tech company that has captured thousands of life stories of older adults for better health, using evidence-based reminiscence therapy (RT), narrative care and research-based life story methods.
The company's latest product announced in October, is LifeBio Memory, and is an iOS & Android APP that uses audio recording and visual prompts along with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to help dementia and Alzheimer's adults tell their life story in their own words.
The result of using this product is lowered levels of depression, increased social engagement. Health care professionals who use the LifeBio tools of snapshots and summaries of the person, more person-centered care for improved quality of life.
