What are angels? What is their purpose? Hebrews 1:14 says "Are they not all not ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? For many years I would think about that the scriptures said about God doing things for his people and many times when we see things happening for God's people we see angels show up. Then one day it occurred to me that as a king God does not "get his hands dirty much, which means that he needs vessels to carry out his plans in the earth on behalf of those who serve him. Enter the angels. God's angels have been used many times to employ the purposes of God, but that does not mean it is not God doing it, because they are his means by which things get done: the dirty work.
