True Crime
In July 2008, Nancy Cooper left her Cary home for a "jog" but was never seen alive again. Her husband Brad Cooper was accused of strangling his wife to death. The investigations revealed a tangled web of romantic trysts, affairs, and soap opera drama in the suburbs. Brad's defense maintained police had zeroed in on the husband ignoring details that might lead them to other suspects. However, police felt the circumstantial evidence: infidelity, financial problems, and the possibility of divorce led Brad to murder his wife.
