Lawrence W. Reed is President emeritus of the Foundation for Economic Education. He served as President of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy for 21 years and taught economics at Northwood University from 1984 to 1987 and served as Chairman of the department. Reed authored over 2000 columns and authored or co-authored 8 books.
