Today we bring you a new episode of #Taakulo, the radio magazine that shares with you news and updates about the work of the United Nations family in Somalia. In today’s episode, we will discuss UNDP-supported “Community Conversation” initiatives being implemented in five Federal Member State capital cities. We ask Virgine Blanchard, UNSOM Judicial Affairs Officer, about how this initiative is providing spaces for local communities to reflect on the pressing issues they face in the areas of justice delivery and alternative dispute resolutions through community-based interventions.
We also interview Hani Mohamud Ahmed, Community Facilitator for this programme. She shares with us achievements so far registered by the initiative and how communities are coming together to solve issues through local initiatives.
The programme is presented by Ali Gutale and Fathi Mohamed. You will have the opportunity to react to the show and share your thoughts by calling in to your favourite radio stations!
