Hello and welcome to the post game podcast with me your host Patrick Smith, after Liverpool were held to a draw at White Hart Lane by a tricky Antonio Conte spurs side.
The night will be marred by the controversial refereeing from Paul Tierney after Harry Kane survived a reckless studs up tackle on Andy Robertson, who was then sent off for a lesser, albeit similarly dangerous tackle in the second half.
The hosts opened the scoring through the England captain, who stayed on the pitch, until Liverpool nicked one back thanks to a Diogo Jota header from a pinpoint Robertson cross.
The fullbacks in Red dominated the match, and it would be the Scotland captain to nod his side into the lead in the second half, before a rare Alisson Becker blunder in spite of his heroic goalkeeping allowed Heung Min Son to equalise.
We’ve got a real treat for you on the pod tonight however, with Paul Gorst giving us his reaction from White Hart Lane, the immediate thoughts of Liverpool supporters around the world, but best of all, Jurgen Klopp’s press conference is one you definitely don’t want to be missing.
