The Mindful Healers Podcast with Dr. Jessie Mahoney and Dr. Ni-Cheng Liang
Society & Culture:Relationships
A “hard reset” is when ctrl-alt-del happens in life. It very often feels “negative” but when the experience is approached with mindfulness and curiosity there is more comfort in the discomfort. And it can even be viewed as an opportunity.
In today's episode normalize the challenges surrounding resets and how mindfulness can be used to both notice when a reset might need to occur and help you get through the difficulty of unexpected resets.
Pain X Resistance = Suffering is an equation that can help you lessen the suffering experienced during hard resets.
We caution you not to use mindfulness and coaching as ways of resisting reality or being unkind to yourself in the process and we encourage you to challenge yourself to look at your own lives to see where a proactive “hard reset” might be helpful.
