Episode 86
Bryant Young played 14 years in the NFL, all with the San Francisco 49ers, and was one of the best defensive players of his era. Named to four Pro Bowls, Young was also named a First Team All-Pro in 1996. In 1999 he was named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year by both the Associated Press and the Professional Football Writers Association, and in 1994 he was named to the NFL All-Rookie team after a stellar three-year college career at Notre Dame. He also named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame 2nd Team All-1990s Team.
He and his wife, Kristin, join "Table Forty" this week to talk about life in the NFL, finding joy in contentment, leading and coaching young people in sports and their faith, the role mentors have played in their life, and their testimonies of coming to faith.
