Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

Father God in the name of Jesus. We give you glory. We give you honor, and we give you praise. And we thank you, God, for your precious gift, your son, Jesus, who came to earth with a specific assignment and purpose to save us from our sins. But your word says, so God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believes in him shall not perish but they shall have everlasting life. And we thank God that we have hope tonight because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. We don't have to live in despair. Neither do we have to live all stress out without any hope and in turmoil. But God, you invite us through your word to cast all of our cares upon you because you care for us. And God, no matter what the situation, no matter what's going on in the life of your daughters tonight, I pray that they wouldn't have the strength to say, God, here it is.

 

I can't handle it any longer. I give it to you. I bring it to your feet and I lay it there. And when I do that, I will find the strength. I will find help to be able to navigate through life. I pray for your blessings. I pray your anointing upon the lives of every home.

 

I pray your peace will speak to their hearts, their minds, and their souls. I pray, oh God. In the name of Jesus that you would heal their families in Jesus' name. That you would establish harmony and peace and fellowship among the families and the family members in Jesus' name. But God, you came that we may be reconciled first with you and then with one another.

 

So I pray in Jesus' name that families would come together and that they would seek. Peace and harmony that only you can bring and God that they will practice forgiveness in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

 

we give you glory and we give you praise where you being in our lives in Jesus name, we pray.
