Uncharted Waters - 1st in Series

Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

Father God, in the name, when Jesus, we give you glory and praise and we honor your name. We thank you for this new year. We thank you for the power of your word and the comfort of your spirit that has brought us through 2021. And now we are in 2022.

 

We thank you, God. In the name of Jesus that you're always with us. Your word has promised us that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for your abiding presence.

 

Now God, as we venture into the things of God and the callings of God for 2022. I pray that you would give us brave hearts and strong spirits and that we will look to you for our answers in our directions, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And God, we thank you that in 2022, your presence is going to be with us, like never before, even in our good times. And there may be some not-so-good times. But your word assures us that you will never leave us nor forsake us.

 

Now bless us, God. As we turn our hearts and our minds to the will of God for our lives, and you have spoken to my heart and you declared 2022 as a year of uncharted waters. As we increase our faith and our understanding of what you're saying to us, give us the faith to launch out into deep waters, to believe you for the impossible. And then God, your word assures us again, that you're going to be with us and you're going to take us and we're going to experience your blessings and your presence on a level that we've never experienced before.

 

Thank you for the abiding grace and the comfort of the holy spirit that as we go through uncharted waters, you are with us in 2022. In Jesus' name. I pray. Amen. And amen.
