A lot of upbeat, positive, motivational sayings pop up around this time of year. Today, we are going to discuss one that I appreciate for its attempts at offering hope, but bristle at its limitations. Today, let’s unpack the ideas behind “New Year, New You.”
The good news is, a new you is never limited to a specific date or time of year. Christ can make anyone new, at any time. But what does it mean that we are made new in Christ, and how does that jive with the world’s idea of “new year, new you.”
