55 The Power of Being an Advocate for Yourself and Others with Veteran Media Personality/Expert Elizabeth Espinosa
I wanted to start the new year off strong and today's guest is exactly that: strong and an inspirational force. We first met as morning reporters in Los Angeles. We were not just trusted colleagues, but friends. I'm excited to share her empowering energy to help you kickstart 2022. She is a multi-lingual Emmy award-winning television reporter, talk show host, media expert, special needs advocate, speaker and so much more.
From the KTLA Morning News and Fox 11’s Good Day LA in Los Angeles to hosting her own nightly talk show on CNN Latino, Sunday morning with Elizabeth Espinosa on KFI-AM 640 and Studio So Cal on PBS she is has always been a powerful voice in the world and for those around her. She is currently the executive director of communications for the largest sheriff's department in the nation, LA County.
Being a daughter of immigrant parents like I am, Elizabeth has learned that hardships can shape us and define our purpose rather than hold us back. Growing up with a brother with disabilities, she also learned how to use her power to be an advocate for others.
