As we get into 2022 and try to find our footing in a teaching landscape that is shifting below us we thought it would be important to take a look back at what we learned in 2021. A theme that appeared throughout our conversation is letting go of assumptions. Letting go of the things we thought we knew about teaching and learned and embracing our ability to innovate on the fly. We also tackle questions like how do we redirect and manage the behaviors of students who aren't in the normal progression of behavior. Many of our kids haven't had a normal year in four years, so they really aren't acting their age. These are the things we talk about on this episode. We hope you enjoy it!!
