Bio
Liz Davis has been involved in singing and dancing since the age of five, from local singing contests to Irish dancing at world championship level. She showed a stronger interest in singing and has her voice formally trained for contemporary and classical performance. She has performed live on a number of occasions in many of Dublin's most prestigious venues such as Whelans, The Voodoo Lounge, The Temple Bar Music Centre and Vicar Street's sister venue-The Shelter; as well as a number of Dublin pubs including: The Hole In The Wall, Bankers Pub and the Laurels. (Usually accompanied on accoustic guitar by her talented brother Liam Davis.) Liz is a big fan of all music genres, from Irish trad to rock, but her main love is RnB. Following a very individual style of RnB mixed with pop, soul and jazz her lyrics represent the fun if not mischievious side of being a healthy and very happy 20-something year old in Dublin, as well as a reflection of some of the heart break, hurt and soulful contemplation that also comes with the territory.
