Mixing sunny upbeat sounds influenced by the likes Fleetwood Mac with a darker edge influenced by the likes of recent Cardigans albums, Sharon Reid appeals to fans from those who love story driven songs to those who just want a catchy melody! She has fronted rock bands but also has studied singing, with a particular interest in Italian opera, this is why so many people from many different backgrounds are instantly intrigued by this Irish singer songwriter/musician.

Writing on her own or co-writing and performing for people is what she does and loves best. With an upcoming album of well crafted songs, Reid looks set to make a mark on the music scene.

After lengthy stints fronting various bands and having completed projects with musicians from the US and Europe, fans are delighted to hear that she has now undertaken her own solo projects, just Sharon and a piano! And now, that extra special treat of her singing a cappella is a rare find.
