Starting out in the hotbed of talent that was the singer/songwriter scene of the late nineties and playing the streets and venues such as the International Bar, Whelans and Da Club, Dublin born Sinead Martin was regarded as one of the brightest sparks on the scene. The eponymous demo she brings forward now is one of the finest and most inspiring collections of songs anyone is likely to hear. Clear to all who listen, is the sumptuous beauty of Sinead Martin at her best. Sinead has also lent her sonorous voice to ‘Living’, Paddy Casey’s platinum selling album; her exceptional backing vocals can be heard on the two standout tracks, ‘Lucky one’ and ‘Miracle’. Clearly, the best Ireland has to offer, agree Sinead Martin is a special talent as she has been invited to both support and perform alongside Damien Rice (Homecoming Tour, Vicar St.), Paddy Casey (Irish Tour, “Living?), and Mundy to name but a few.
